Old houses and buildings can be found just about everywhere. Generally they are abandoned but others have owners who embrace the historic charm of a century home and will renovate it to keep the character but still be a livable home.

Old houses symbolize the comfort of a family’s heritage and the trauma embedded within that history. They were once loved and cherished structures and were the center of someone’s world at one point. Now they sit alone and those family memories are just whispers in the wind that flow through the cracks and broken windows.

The character of old houses and buildings can’t be duplicated. The craftmanship is usually unique and the walls hide stories that date back centuries. If only those walls could talk.
